Is Your Network Marketing Business going the right direction for you?
Many people aren’t sure of the direction they are headed or where to start when it comes to Network Marketing. I think we can all agree though that it is a great industry to be in, but you need to be taking the right steps in your Network Marketing business to make it work for you and have a successful future.
Are you taking the right steps to get you where you want to be in your Network Marketing Business?
This is the questions many, many people ask themselves, and usually after some time they are questioning it more and more. Eventually most Network Marketers quit, because they just aren’t following the right path for different reasons.
Let’s see if we can’t pin down this PATH you should be taking in Your Network Marketing Business:
- Find and choose what you’re passionate about. If you choose a Network Marketing company find one that you really stand behind and LOVE what they have to offer. If you don’t care or don’t believe in their products or services, you won’t have the faith and dedication to succeed. You will soon quit, possibly feel like a failure or be unmotivated which will decrease your chances of success in the future.
- COMMIT! After you have done step 1, you need to commit to doing it! If you haven’t committed right away you’ll just wander around aimlessly unsure if you’re doing the right thing and not stay on track. You need to commit to make things happen!
- Get Involved in the company, their events, meetings, calls, etc. Getting involved will enhance your EXCITEMENT, your relationship with others, and most importantly YOUR LEARNING. Get involved too in the community if you can, because that will expand your network of possible customers or new business builders. Your Network Marketing Business needs to have involvement by YOU otherwise it will not move forward alone.
- Educate Yourself!! This is so very important, and I just started to allude to it in step 3. By educating yourself you’re becoming more confident and more knowledgeable in what you’re doing and what you believe. Generally speaking, just being more educated in life will help you grow and personally develop into something spectacular. You’re opening your eyes to new things and new concepts, which helps bring new ideas!
- Share and Communicate with others. This can be linked to those just in your business currently, but it should also be spread to those you are building relationships with. If you have a blog, and I hope that you do in your network marketing business, you should be sharing valuable information with your readers, and communicating with them. If you haven’t heard of the Better Web Builder yet, it is FREE to use so USE IT.
It has everything you need in regards to training, resources, capture pages, etc. If you are networking, don’t worry so much about trying to prospect, but just simply sharing information with people on a personal level. Soon this will come back around and they’ll become customers or new partners in your business because you have earned their trust and friendship. - Treat this as a BUSINESS, not your hobby! You need to understand that this is YOUR BUSINESS, not something you do time to time. IF you think like a small business owner where you have REAL CUSTOMERS and make scheduled hours where you WORK, then you’ll be in the zone and take it much more seriously. If you feel it’s random and you aren’t committed to it and treat it like a hobby, then you’ll probably quit and you won’t grow as quickly or as SUCCESSFULLY as you’d like.
If you’re taking the right steps and following THE RIGHT PATH in your Network Marketing business, you will have success. I think the biggest underlying concept here is COMMITTING yourself to the path!!

I completely agree, some people are just waivering and don’t know what they should be doing. Those who waiver end up quitting. You have to know “why” you’re doing what you’re doing.

Hi Erika,
All great points, especially #6. So many people don’t treat this as a real business and come into it with the mindset they will get rich quick. Once they realize how important #4 is, that it will take work and dedication, many give up.
You mention “Share and Communicate” and the Unified Tribe… Probably one of the best ways to learn and meet great people is through the UT. I am grateful to have met so many incredible marketing people like yourself, and have learned so much!

Oh yes, the thinking about getting rich in 3 months and then not having to work. This is “work” just like any other job, and with any small business it takes time and building. If people just stuck with it, they’d really understand how it works and how great it is!
